The Story of Babar

The NSO Chamber Music Ensemble, comprised of professional instrumentalists of the NSO Symphony Orchestra, will perform French composer Francis Poulenc's delightful musical interpretation of the beloved French children's book, 'The Story of Babar' (L'Histoire de Babar), Narrated by Damian Watson, Abu Dhabi Classic FM Breakfast Classics show presenter, with projected illustrations of Babar's adventures, this Abu Dhabi premiere performance will delight the entire family.

This concert will also feature other well-known chamber works inspired by the love for children's literature including selections from Faure's "Dolly Suite", Ravel's "Mother Goose Suite" (Ma Mère l'Oye), and Mozart's 12 variations on "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". With only one performance on offer, you'll not want to miss this one!
