NSO at the National Theatre Gala Concert

NSO's gala symphonic orchestral concert will be presenting an Abu Dhabi premiere of the world's most popular piece of classical music- Carl Orff's, CARMINA BURANA. This piece is performed with a 65 piece NSO symphony orchestra, 80 voice NSO Chorus, 30 voice NSO Youth Chorus and guest vocal soloists from the US and UK.
The programme, conducted by Maestro Andrew Berryman, will also include the majestic orchestral piece Finlandia by Sibelieus, a beautiful aria by Massenet and Arabic song by Rahabani performed by Emirati soprano Balqees Fathi and Rachmaninoff's virtuosic piece for piano and orchestra performed by World Champion concert pianist Ioannis Potamousis, Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini, op. 43.
