Amahl and the Night Visitors

22 & 23 January 2015: NSO Opera will extend the seasonal festivities into the New Year with the Abu Dhabi Premiere of Menotti’s "Amahl & the Night Visitors" at Brighton College.
The fully staged, one-act family opera features professional opera singers, the NSO Chorus, a student ballet troupe and the NSO Chamber Orchestra, led by NSO Maestro Andrew Berryman.
Originally written for American Television, 'Amahl & the Night Visitors' is a moving tale about a curious, crippled shepherd boy and his widowed mother who are visited by the Three Wise Men on their way to Bethlehem. This charming opera has been performed on every continent and in many languages, and has been seen by more people than any other opera in history. "A feel-good show.
