The Arab Hope Makers initiative will adopt a humanitarian cause annually. It aims to highlight and support a humanitarian or charitable project with sustainable long-term goals to maximize impact and expand the scope of beneficiaries. This time, the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Center in Egypt is the cause of the year. The final show today will allocate its proceed towards supporting the construction of the center in Egypt.

Balqees asked NSO four days ago to assist her in this event. As she's been a NSO Goodwill Ambassador since we began in 2011, we were happy to assist in realizing her idea and desire to perform Michael Jackson's iconic "Heal the World" with our NSO Chorus and Balqees' orchestra.

NSO is pleased to have been invited to participate in such a worthwhile cause and perform again with the extraordinarily talented Balqees.
